Recommended Muay Thai Equipments
Gloves
There is a require specific glove weight based on your weight class: Mini Flyweight to Junior Featherweight - 6 ounces Featherweight to Welterweight - 8 ounces Junior Middleweight and Upwards - 10 ounces
Note. You don’t need to worry about the glove weight if you are an amateur or general martial art practitioner. Popular Glove brands: Twins, Fairtext, Yokkao, Top King, Venum
Hand wraps
The gloves alone will not provide enough support, you need hand wraps as an inner support and protection layer, to help secure your hands and wrist. It also helps increase padding across the knuckles.
Workout clothes
We recommend any type of sport outfits that allow you to move freely and comfortably. You usually will not wear shoes while training, so there’s no need to worry about footwear.
